Mommy just came home for the weekend and said boy, you two look like a couple of Scarecrows! Star, just look at your legs! And then she used the dreaded "b" word!

Well, we're supposed to look scary mommy, it's HALLOWEEN! Oh dear, is it? I completely forgot! Oh great Riley, we missed it!
Well, I'm awfully tired and it's kind of late, but maybe I can come up with something real quick! Halloween doesn't start until tonight anyway. It is tonight! WITCH BROOM DID SHE FLY IN ON? Oh please mommy, please!

I got it! Riley, you can be a pumpkin! Hey, I was a pumpkin last year!
And Star, you can be a rabbit! Oh this is so humiliating! I have a hot date with SNOWY tonight and I'm dressed up like an Easter Bunny!
Well then, how about these cute little sweaters I picked up a few months ago? I HATE THEM!
Mommy, we're supposed to be scary, not cute!
Okay then, Riley you can be a Ghost and Star can be a Dallas Cheerleader. What??? She gets to be a Dallas Cheerleader and I'm wearing one of your old worn out neck scarves? I don't think so!
Where's my ROMO jersey? You don't have one honey. WELL, THAT'S THE STORY OF MY LIFE! Well, there goes my future with SAVVY! She's probably laughing her hineny off right now!

WE'RE STILL DANCING, BUT TAKING A LITTLE TIME OFF.

Our Dear Blogging Friends,

The past two months have been quite hectic for me and our family and it has become harder for me to keep up with my blogging as much as I would like to and not to mention, posting.

A month ago, my daughter Ashley, was diagnosed with Colitis and also with a large tumor on one her ovaries. The next week, I fell and broke my nose. This past Wednesday, Ashley had surgery to remove the tumor which was binign and came home today. We feel very blessed!

Ashley has two babies that are only eleven months apart. Yep, you heard right! The youngest is four months old and she is here with us this week and her fifteen month old brother has been staying with his other grandparents.

On Monday, I am going up to help take care of Ashley and her family for several days every week. She can't lift the babies for six weeks so I will be sort of out of pocket until then.

However, I will bring my lap top and try to keep up with everyone's posts when I have some down time in the evenings. That is, if I can still stay awake after I put the babies to bed. I'm not sure when I we will be posting next, but I will have to play that by ear also.

Riley and Star are still dancing their little feet off and will continue Dancing With The Star but the show's schedule is uncertain for right now and most likely, I will post from time to time on the weekends when I'm home.

We love hearing from all of you and we promise to stay in touch whenever we can until things get back to normal again.

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO. IT'S THE DANCE OF LOVE.

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO, TWO TO TANGO, TWO TO REALLY GET THE FEELING OF ROMANCE! SO LET'S DO THE TANGO, DO THE TANGO, DO THE DANCE OF LOVE!

HI, I'M RILEY AND I'M STAR, AND WELCOME TO "DANCING WITH THE STAR"!

Tonight we are standing in for Tom and Samantha who couldn't be here because they are all tied up for the evening! Now, who would have done such a thing? Star, go pull up your pantie hose!
Also, because of technical difficulties, we are combining both Monday and Tuesday Night's Shows and airing them on Thursday. We're confused too but mommy said, "DON'T ASK"!

Oh Hi Tom, fancy seeing you here? Sorry Tom, but you're not allowed to curse on T.V.

Monday night the Stars danced to the Argentine Tango, the Paso Doble and the Hustle!


The day started out frantically with Riley and Star having to HUSTLE to get their makeup and hair styled. And then on to Wardrobe where their Costume Designer had to pin their costumes on them. Ouch!
After wards, they ran backstage just in time for the show to start. Star was so nervous that she....well, you can use you imagination!
Riley and Star were the first contestants on the dance floor where they attacked each other like wild dogs dancing the PASO DOBLE! BRUNO said that Riley was like a little boy lost in the wilderness! Then Riley said, well if you would give us Porta-Potties like the other Stars, we wouldn't have to go in the wilderness!
Then BRUNO said that Riley had finally put his DOG FACE on and became a man! Riley then said, "How would you know?"
BRUNO also said that Star was like a beautiful, Cold Blooded Bull with headlights!
Mya danced a Tango that was hot enough to grill steaks, which sent Riley hot on her trail! He kept jumping up trying to sniff her butt!
After Donnie danced the Tango, BRUNO said, "Come to me"! and Donnie said, "You took me there". Then Riley said, "Holy Fudge Cakes"! Then Star said, Riley, where's there? Riley said, I don't know and I don't care, so long as it isn't me!
Then Riley said to Star, they're gaining on us! We have to do the Tango! Star said, no way Riley! We're sister and brother and the Tango is a passionate and romantic dance. Riley said, Oh yeah!
Then Riley got a bright idea! I know, I'll just pretend that I'm dance'n with my girlfrend, Savvy! Isn't she beautiful?
Star, and you can pretend that you are dance'n with Snowy. This is going to be the best Tango of the night! Well it would be, if I was dance'n with Snowy!
Then Riley and Star danced a romantic and passionate tango and the crowd howled!
But then, BRUNO called Star a Harlet and a Woman Of The Night so Riley bit him! We had to call 911 but on the way to the hospital, BRUNO shouted, TEN!!! Now Riley and Star are on the Top Three of the Leader Board along with with Donnie and Mya.
The Competition is getting tighter and tighter and nickles are missing everywhere! Someone said Michael Irvin is hiding them, but no one wants to look for them! So it's up to you fans, to keep Riley and Star in the Competition! Just dial: 1-800-DOGGIES!

LIVE FROM HOLLYWOOD! IT'S DANCING WITH THE STAR RESULT SHOW! Howdy! Every Doggy and Kitty! I'm Riley and my Partner Star, who happens to be in the Powder Room at the moment, is drying her hose. Last night the house was packed and once again, it is filled to the rafters!
Riley, I'm back, I had to change my costume.
Tonight we have a dog-packed show with a special appearance from the "BARK STREET BOYS" singing their smash hit, "DOGS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN"!
Oh, Hi Tom. Move over, Rover! Last night STAR triumphed as she impressed the Judges with her three TEXAS TWO STEPS! (Now that's a first!) But disappointing for Louie when he crashed and burned trying to learn how to ride a horse!
Carrie Ann said, Riley and Star were HOT! And hoped the puppies were taking a nap!
The dance floor was full of fire and rain! You can say that again, Tom!
Oh and Folks, be sure to watch for Riley as the next Bachelor on "THE HYDRANT OF LOVE" which premiers in January. Back to you Samantha.
