MYSTERY AT THE PARK.

Today we asked mommy if we could go down to the little park which is just about a block from our house. It has lots of beautiful tall yellow wild flowers and we wanted to play hide and seek.

When we got there Riley said, Hey Star, are you sniffing what I'm sniffing?

Yea, and it's coming from that direction and it's making a weird sound and I can't figure out what it is?

Hey! it just went up that tree Riley! Yea, and it's starting to pee me off!

Oh Crap-Ola! It's coming back this way!

Did you get a good glimpse of it Riley?

Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't eat me!

OMD!!! I see it! It's over by that house!

Star, I don't know about you? Butt, I'm out of here! IT'S A GIANT........

IT'S A GIANT WHAT???

IT'S A GIANT SQUIRREL!!!

And where is Dory when you need her?

Indeed, Dory is needed there! Star, perhaps a phonecall to Remington would help too. That tree rat looks really scary!

Oh crap! They are taking over the world! At least this one wasn't packing!

Nellie is still traumatized over her last encounter with these critters...

You should do what we did, we threw them a bunch of nuts to distract them and ran away.

PeeS: You guys look beautiful surrounded by those flowers, but then again, you'd look beautiful no matter what.

Hi Riley and Star - we are able to see your blog fine this morning!
Loving the pics of you two in the pretty flowers.
The header pic is delightful amongst the bluebells - our mum's favourite.
We have a bluebell wood nearby we visited last week but they are still not out.
We will visit again this weekend.
We could not believe the size of that squirrel - humungous!
It actually does look big enough to eat you - we might need to come over and help!
love

Hi Riley & Star! How nice of your mommy to take you to the park. I love taking in all the smells and running through the fields. I have never, in my whole life seen a squirrel that big. YIKES! I'm sure glad it didn't attack you. I know that Dory will take care of that squirrel.

I hope Dory isn't sidetracked by her dreams of stardom. That squirrel could easily have one of you for lunch! Which reminds me... it's time for a snack.

A very cute post; the story and photos were perfect together!...Riley, you and Star have sweet, expressive faces and posture that tell the story all on their own!...The yellow wildflowers were pretty, but not as gorgeous as you two...Happy Saturday friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

What a beautiful place to walk. We are going to have to get Auntie Sadie and go there, because she is a super Squirrel hunter, and she can help us learn how to handle such a HUGE squirrel! Gimli

(Aw... knock it off, Gimli! You KNOW you have a crush on Miss Star, but Mama Dott says you are to young to think about those things! Pippin)
