THIS WAS THE BEST THANKSGIVING WEEK EVER.

This was the best week ever! Mommy promised not to take any pictures of us and NO BATHS! Yippee!

Our human brother, Jason and his wife Haruka came home for Thanksgiving. We love it when they're here because they play and love on us all the time and cook!

Mommy kept her promise and just took pictures of food. Not just any old food, but beautiful and delicious food that Jason and Haruka grow on their Organic farm in N.C. Mommy cut a deal with them a long time ago. "You cook and I'll wash the dishes". It's a great arrangement cause boy, can they cook and it's all fresh off the farm.

Above is a beautiful green salad that Haruka prepared with Butter head lettuce that is so tender, it melts in your mouth! Also with Arugula, carrots, sweet red pepper, water melon relish and fresh dill. And she makes her own dressings from scratch. OMD!

This is Haruka just whipping something up! Cream Of Parsnip Soup with crab and Mushroom relish. Isn't she cute?
This wonderful and very rich soup has parsnips, potatoes, leeks, celery chicken broth, half and half, sage, cherbil and salt. The relish is made with mushrooms, crab, green onions. Haruka's presentation is always so beautiful!
Last but not least, the next morning, Jason made us all a huge crab omelet that was heaping full with Havarti cheese, avocado, green onion, sweet red and purple peppers, dill, and mushrooms! We love it when they come home! Yippee!
Tomorrow they are going home and mommy is very sad. We're giving her lots of kisses though. We hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving week also.

We told mommy that an omelet is much more photogenic then we are. She said, just wait till next week! Oh, Brother!

Luv,
Riley and Star.
