I'M LEAVING HOME.
Why? you ask? I'll tell ya why! After that stunt mommy pulled on me yesterday, I am leaving and never coming back! She tried to sabotage my date with Tessa by dressing me in Dragnet and in PINK! and I will never forgive her!Yea, well if he thinks he's leaving me here with that crazy menopausal woman, he's nuts! I'm leaving too!
Star, It was just awful! I had to wait until dark to go pee-pee so nobuddy would see me! And when I got to Tessa's, her mommy told me that I was in the wrong neighborhood and wouldn't let me in until she realized it was me!Yea, and thank dogness PINK happens to be Tessa's favorite color cause when she saw me, she kissed and sniffed me a zillion times!
Then her mommy fixed us a wonderful meal with candlelight and Italian music. Oh Riley, that's so romantic! Yea, we shared a plate of spaghetti. I can't wait to go back, her mommy is soo nice!
I'm all packed now and I am so out of here! I bet she'll be sorry!
Riley wait! Let me just grab a few things and I'll go with you. I couldn't bare to let you go alone, besides, I'd miss you!
Okay, let's see...I got my pink blankie, Miss. Piggy, my favorite squeaky toy and just a few clothes.
Okay...I'm ready! Riley, grab the luggage and let's haul butt!
She's kidding, right? Hey, I'm not a pack mule, grab your own luggage!
Riley, PLEASSSSSSE! I have to carry my purse!
Well, on second thought, maybe I'll stay home? And I'll even forgive mommy this time, butt this time only! After all, I do love her!

I think you guys should stay. Even if momma's choice of clothes for you was mean spirited, it wound up helping you out! At this rate, she should NEVER be able to get to you with pranks like that!

Oh No!!!! What a bad mommy you have - although we have to go backwards now and read what she did in the last post! You see our humans is holding us back.......
We are glad you have decided to give her another chance - we also live with a menopausal mum and they are pretty mad! So dressing you up to look ridiculous will have seemed reasonable to her.
She maybe thought you looked cute or something!
Just hide the pink stuff you don't like - leave it for a day - mom will have forgotten all about it....................their short term memory is very poor at this stage.

Hi Star....mom and I are sending a 2 Men and a Truck for you and all your luggage and tell Riley he is also welcomed to hop in the truck. You'll be at our house in no time.
You two are hilarious!!! But just a hint of advice...be careful that mom doesn't hear you call her menopausal...she might dye your coats a horrid color while you are sleeping.

Thank dogness you guys decided to stay! Riley, even though your Mom dressed you in that ridiculous outfit, it all worked out for the best, because we heard that Tessa just loves a dog in pink!! But, for the future, I would throw that outfit out and when she goes looking for it, you can just tell her you don't know what happened to it (we learned this from our Mom, that's what she does to Dad's junk sometimes, BOL!!)

Riley!!! I think your momma and my dad are both suffering the same thingy. They just can't believe that we have our GIRRRLS and are all grown up guys. They both tried to put a squirrel wrench in our love lives.
I am sooooo glad your date with Tessa worked out. CANDLES??? You got to have candles??? My mom was afraid that we would catch our furs on fire so Ruby and Penny and I only got to have the dumb old Oil Light.
Maybe you and I should write a book about how to get Two Leggers to become more... Mature. I'm sure it would be a bestest seller.
Now that we have THEM in a better mentals state... I think thingys will be MUCH better for US and our WIMMEN!! I'm just sayin'.

OMD Riley! I worry about you and Star thinking of running away from home, traveling so far. Oh my, I would worry so.
Mommy is so sorry that she did not recognize you, but I knew it was you! No matter what color your Mom tries to paint you up I would know you anywhere! You will always be my BIG STUDLY Pup!
Mommy says that if you really need a place to stay that you and Star are more than welcome in our home. Mommy says that you are both very polite and respectful pups who would always be welcome.
She also says that there are plenty of yummy nummy leftovers in a good Italian home! And that friends are always welcome in our home, even wearing pink!
I am glad that you have forgiven you Mom. I hope that she thinks twice before selecting a color palette for you.
